Siam Park vs Aqualand: which one to choose
Tenerife’s two big water parks are both in Costa Adeje, a few minutes apart, and both run a free bus from hotels in the south. But they are not the same: here are the differences to help you choose, or to plan both.
Siam Park: the most spectacular
Siam Park has been voted the best water park in the world several times by TripAdvisor users. Behind its Thai temple styling are thrilling slides like the Tower of Power with its near-vertical drop, the Mai Thai river, the largest artificial wave pool and a white sand beach.
It is the park for adrenaline and a full day out. It has areas for the little ones, an All Inclusive ticket with fast pass, food and drinks, and private VIP areas for groups.
Siam ParkAqualand: the one with dolphins
Aqualand combines slides like the Kamikaze and the Super Slalom, a lazy river and a wave pool with its main attraction: the dolphin show, at 3:30 pm and, in July and August, also at 12:45 pm. It is calmer and usually suits families with young children better.

If you want the most extreme slides and a sandy beach, choose Siam Park. If you are travelling with small children or would love to see dolphins, choose Aqualand. Both have a free bus from Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas, and under-3s go free at both.
Child rates differ: at Siam Park children aged 3 to 11 pay less; at Aqualand, ages 5 to 10 (and over-65s) pay a reduced rate and ages 3 to 4 pay the child rate.
Combo tickets
If you want to visit more than one park, two combinations work out cheaper. The Twin Ticket combines Siam Park with Loro Parque, each on a different day. Aqualand’s 2 Parks Ticket adds a day at Jungle Park.

Which is better, Siam Park or Aqualand?
It depends on what you want: Siam Park is bigger, with the most spectacular slides and a sandy beach; Aqualand is calmer and has a dolphin show, ideal with young children.
Is there a free bus?
Yes. Both parks run a free bus from Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas. Siam Park can also be reached from the north, Los Gigantes and Golf del Sur for a supplement.
What time is the Aqualand dolphin show?
At 3:30 pm, and in July and August also at 12:45 pm.
